Speech Therapy

Rehabilitation | Communication and language

Description

Speech therapy aims to prevent, assess, and treat disorders of oral and written communication, swallowing, and voice. Our speech therapists work closely with educators and families.

Each speech assessment identifies the beneficiary's specific needs and defines an adapted rehabilitation plan. Sessions use play, visual supports, and digital tools to encourage engagement and progress.

Areas of intervention

  • Oral language: vocabulary, syntax, articulation;
  • Written language: reading, writing, comprehension;
  • Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when needed;
  • Social pragmatics and peer interactions.

Coordination with the team

Speech therapy goals are integrated into the overall educational plan. Regular exchanges with parents help extend exercises at home and ensure consistent follow-up.
